A live, stat-based MVP watch using reported production, classification adjustments and phased record, live-SOS and quality-win team context. Rural players remain fully eligible for the statewide MVP race while also competing for the Rural MVP.

Scope
MVP scopes: Statewide, Rural MVP and Big School MVP keep the RUS classification weights for cross-class comparisons. Classification and Region races use the same reported production plus team context without a cross-class multiplier, so players are compared directly against peers in that class or region. Team context is based 50% on record, 30% on live opponent-record SOS and 20% on quality wins. A defeated opponent's current record and State Top 25 tier update that win retroactively. The adjustment phases in through five games and is capped at 10%. Missing stats are never estimated.
