About Rural Utah Sports
Rural Utah Sports is an independent project built to preserve, organize and explore Utah high school football history while making current scores, rankings, statistics and analytical tools easier to use.
What RUS Covers
Historical game results, program records, championships, ELO ratings, rankings, standings, player statistics, current-season games, Scorigami, simulations and other football research tools.
Why It Exists
High school football history is scattered across old scorebooks, news archives, record books and individual team records. RUS is designed to bring that information together and make it searchable and useful.
Independent Project
Rural Utah Sports is not the UHSAA and is not an official school or district website. Official association records and school sources should be used when an official ruling or eligibility decision is required.
Built for the Community
The site is intended for fans, players, families, coaches, historians and media members who want a clearer view of Utah high school football past and present.
Accuracy Matters
RUS combines historical research, public reporting, current score and roster data, and original calculations. Large historical datasets can contain mistakes or conflicting records, so corrections are encouraged and reviewed against available sources before data is changed.
