2026 Madden Team Ratings

How Madden Ratings work: Game-by-game 2026 points scored and allowed are adjusted for opponent quality and recent performance. To keep small-class dominance from inflating statewide OVR grades, overall team strength blends 75% rescaled statewide opponent-adjusted power, 10% linearly scaled scoring strength, and 15% statewide ELO. The offense/defense split reflects each team’s opponent-adjusted scoring profile. Teams with fewer than four completed in-state games are marked provisional.

Important: Madden OVR, OFF and DEF grades do not calculate point spreads. Only the RUS Power Ratings have the one-rating-point-equals-one-spread-point rule. Both systems are estimates based on game results, not verified scouting assessments of individual players.
